Hunter S. Thompson Did Not Have a CIA File

A while back, I sought out Hunter Thompson's CIA file. According to the final response posted below, Thompson did not draw the attention of the CIA. Odd.

    I tried to obtain Hunter's FBI file around two years ago and they insisted he didn't have one, even when I appealed. I don't believe them for a second.

    We know from HST's work and lectures that he had various encounters with the FBI, beginning during childhood as outlined in the opening segment of Kingdom of Fear.

    If he was himself CIA, that's what you'd expect to hear.
